Temporary Program Manager - Space Program

The Temporary Program Manager of the School-Based Youth Services Program at the Space at Orange High School oversees the high school program and also the middle school program at Orange Preparatory, the Zone.  The Temporary Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities for the high school program and supervises the Program Coordinator of the middle school program.  Activities include but are not limited to:  promoting program services and strengthening relationships with stakeholders within the community, the school administration and funding sources via presentations and/or attending partner meetings; overseeing a multi-disciplinary staff with a Youth Development Specialist, Employment Specialist and a Clinician; overseeing and managing expenditures within the  program budget including program expenses; completing all relevant reports for the State and overseeing the data which gets inputted into MIS; responding to and providing guidance in crisis management situations;,  facilitating team meetings and providing supervision to staff; participates in Family Connections committees and attends relevant meetings; completes all relevant documentation in Netsmart and interviews potential candidates for vacant positions within the program. 

This is a 3-4 month temporary assignment. 

Education/Certification:  Master's in Social Work or equivalent master's in human services. LSW, LCSW or state licensure/certification. 

Experience:  Five years' experience providing psychotherapy to children and families.  Experience with diverse populations in an urban setting.
