Job
Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains a brand for the
program following Family Connections' current requirements.
- Creates and maintains NJ4S-Essex website
with up-to-date program information.
- Communicates program events and updates
to stakeholders through emails, print materials, social media, and texting.
- Creates social media content through
program events and prevention education.
- Creates a library of webinars and
YouTube videos with a wide range of education that touches all stakeholders.
- Designs all materials and creates
templates to be used by the NJ4S outreach team.
- Designs and orders giveaway items to
promote the program.
- Manages the email system which includes
list segmentation and email design.
- Manages
the texting system which includes list segmentation and copy writing.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work
experience related to non-profit management, social services and/or marketing
& communications.
Experience: At least one year of experience in communications/ graphic design/ social media
marketing. Experience with practices and
procedures of community mental health services a plus.
Knowledge: Knowledge of public and private sources for
funding of Agency programs, and fundraising ethics. Knowledge of best practices for non-profit
fundraising. Knowledge of best practices
for non-profit marketing & communications.
Knowledge of all Agency programs.
Knowledge of best practices in mental health treatment and prevention a
plus.
Skills
and Abilities: Development office/Fundraising Database experience preferred (Raiser's
Edge a plus). Strong
interpersonal skills. Strong
organizational skills. Strong written
and oral communication skills. Ability
to be flexible - including in work hours, based on tasks at hand. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in
