Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all
administrative aspects of programming with the support of the manager
team, to assure compliance with funding regulations, procedures, and level
of service mandates, including but not limited to, referral processes,
multi-system data input, and program reporting.
- Report and update Director of Programs on the status of program(s).
- Promote program in
the community, maintaining strong, cooperative relationships with funders,
referral sources, and collaborating providers.
- As Project Director
of CCBHC-IA; Monitor and oversee all CCBHC-IA programming, compliance and
adherence to SAMHSA regulations and reporting, as scheduled.
- Collaborate with program evaluator and Director of QI to review CCBHC-IA
data collected and provide oversight to program managers during the
implementation of any programmatic changes.
- Oversees Manager
of Outpatient and Support Services, Manager of Intensive Outpatient
Services, Sr. Manager of Medical, Psychiatric, and MAT services and CCBHC Coordination
of Care Manager.
- Monitor and
maintain treatment plan compliance in collaboration with Manager team and
Director of Compliance.
- In collaboration
with Manager teams, manage all program budget and finance affairs in
conjunction with the Director of Programs, Finance Team and CFO.
- Monitor and assess staff utilization within FFS environment in
collaboration with Director of Programs.
- Identifies program
challenges and service gaps and is proactive in finding solutions.
- Ensure attendance
of Managers at community meetings including but not limited to, LACADA,
MDT and Consortium.
- Serve as safety officer for facility, assess and address risk
management concerns, and issues and complete timely incident reports, and
quarterly facility checklists.
- Assist Managers
and Human Resources Management team with the hiring, training,
disciplining, evaluating, and motivating clinical staff.
- Provide
administrative oversight and clinical supervision, as applicable to staff
and interns.
- Lead monthly team
meetings, develop meeting agenda, facilitate discussion, and foster team
collaboration, in conjunction with Coordinators.
- Ensure weekly team
meetings occur and Manager team facilitates communication and sharing, for
the effective orderly running of programs.
- Complete all
required program reporting in a timely fashion and according to
funder/agency timeframes, including but not limited to, funder reports,
record reviews, QI projects and annual contract renewals.
- Remain current in
the field of Mental Health and Substance use, interventions and practices
and assess appropriateness for program needs.
- Support Management team to ensure all required participants receive
regular appointments, psychiatric service and drug/alcohol screens and
monitors results.
- Participate in
agency committees and activities.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage support for Managers as
needed.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: Required:
LPC or LCSW and LCADC or state licensure/certification specific to program
requirement. Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
Experience: Three to five years' experience in mental
health and 2 to 4 years addiction services, plus a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. Experience with diverse
populations in an urban setting.
Knowledge: Knowledge
of psychiatric disorders and various treatment modalities, including group,
family and individual treatment.
Knowledge of community resources, social service, and mental health
systems. Knowledge of appropriate
clinical interventions in a crisis and non-crisis situation. Knowledge of appropriate treatment
interventions for victims of sexual abuse, individuals suffering from PTSD,
juvenile sexual offenders. Knowledge of Family Systems Theory.
Skills
and Abilities: Ability
to conduct biopsychosocial assessments and to make a differential
diagnosis. Ability to supervise clinical
staff regarding clinical interventions, psychopathology, and theoretical case
formulations. Ability to mobilize individual and family strengths. Ability
to provide consumers assistance in obtaining concrete services. Ability to create a case formulation and
treatment plan. Ability to assess children, adults, and families for abuse and
neglect. Ability to work with hard to
reach or resistant consumers. Strong
