Location: Orange, NJ
The Program Coordinator is responsible for day to day management of the school-based program (The Zone) at Orange Preparatory Academy. The Program Coordinator facilities team meeting, Case Conferences and CLB (Community Liaison Board) meetings and keep minutes of each meeting. The Program Coordinator manages and assists in program related training needs and issues to ensure continuity of quality in program. This position is responsible for assessing and addressing risk management concerns and issues according to agency policies. Provides clinical and crisis stabilization services. Refers students and their families to appropriate services. Interface with school administration, guidance, CST, and any other appropriate school district staff regularly to promote continued relationships, collaborative efforts and growth of the SBYSP. The candidate should be a culturally competent individual who will work in alignment with Family Connections' mission.
REQUIRED SKILLS & SPECIFIC LICENSE(S)
· Master's in Social Work or equivalent master's in human services.
· LSW, LAC or state licensure/certification specific to degree
·Two years' experience providing psychotherapy to children and families.
-Experience with diverse populations in an urban setting.
-Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and various treatment modalities, including group, family and individual treatment.
· LCSW/LPC, LMFT
