Family Connections is seeking a compassionate, reliable, organized and creative candidate as a full-time licensed Clinician to join an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals. This Homesafe Clinician will be responsible for maintaining a caseload of DCPP involved families for the Homesafe Program in Essex, Hudson, and Passaic counties. The Homesafe Program provides supportive housing for families involved with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency and face stressors including history of homelessness, substance abuse, mental health concerns, and separation of children due to these stressors. The Clinician will provide services both on site as well as in the community. This Clinician is responsible for facilitating and co-facilitating weekly parenting skills groups for the parents and will be responsible for conducting biopsychosocial, treatment planning and discharge planning as well as providing supports to families who are reunified as well as separated. This individual will maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record system. The candidate should be a culturally competent individual who will work in alignment with Family Connections' mission. Must be an enthusiastic team player and participate in weekly team meetings and supervision.
- LSW, LAC, MFT
- Two years' experience providing clinical mental health services
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC
- Experience with play therapy, family therapy, group treatment, trauma informed interventions, co-occurring disorders
- Experience utilizing electronic health record system
- Experience in working with families who are involved with DCPP or similar systems
