Location: Orange, NJ
The Clinician for the Mental Health& Substance Use Program provides co-occurring trauma informed treatment to adolescents and adults requiring co-occurring Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment. This position will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psycho-social assessments and providing individual, group and family therapy. The Clinician is responsible for treatment planning, discharge planning and providing case management as needed. The Clinician is required to maintain thorough documentation in the electronic health record system. The Clinician would be a part of an integrated team of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Providers and must be a team player. The candidate should be a culturally competent individual who will work in alignment with Family Connections' mission. The individual must be an enthusiastic team player and dedicated to the families we serve.
Required Skills & Specific License(s)
Professional license required: LSW, LAC, or MFT.
Experience with adolescents and adults in substance abuse the mental health field
Experience collaborating with the Department of Child Protection and Permanency.
Experience working with trauma and domestic violence
Strong computer skills and experience using Electronic Health Record
Bilingual - English/Spanish or English/Creole
Experience with NJSAMS and/or CYBER
